Being a Realtor means being a member of your Local, State and National Association of Realtors and abiding by the code of ethics. Since my first year in this business, I became active in our local association. Committee background
Why is this important? I believe that being a Real Estate professional means more than just selling homes. The Realtor associations are strong advocates for protecting private property rights for all citizens. We are the legislative "watch-dog" for all issues related to Real Estate and mortgage financing as well as most regulatory issues in this arena.
It has been my pleasure to be a mentor in the Pontiac and Royal Oak school district as part of the Reaching Higher organization. This worthy program helps students to maximize their leadership potential and learn valuable survival skills as they navigate through young adulthood. I also serve as a trustee for the Realtor Scholarship Fund where High school seniors have the opportunity to apply for college scholarships to Michigan schools, extensively interviewing the students who apply.

Teri helped me find my starter home 5 years ago and then helped my husband and I find our forever home this year. We reached out to Teri just before the Pandemic hit, and once news of the Pandemic was out, we decided to put our home shopping plans on hold. Teri kept in contact with us about what's going on with the housing market, what restrictions and guidelines there are for realtors, and what we can expect in the upcoming months. The time came to begin searching for our forever home and Teri worked her magic to find us the perfect home. She was incredibly flexible and understanding with our crazy schedule and could not have been more helpful to us.
Not only did Teri help find our new home, but she worked diligently to sell our starter home. Teri did not waste any time making sure we did not miss out on any opportunities...she had the photographer to our home immediately and our house was on the market within days. Over a 2 day span we had over 15 showing with multiple offers. It was unbelievable the amount of responses we had on our home during a pandemic.

Teri assisted us in the sale of our first home 27 years ago and the purchase of our forever home that same year. But after 27 years, we considered a change. Leaving our forever home in the middle of a global pandemic was stressful to say the least. Teri remained a calm guiding force. She carefully listened to our needs and zoned in on just the right homes to avoid wasted exposure to us. She photographed our home so perfectly that more than once I got cold feet! And when I did, she would carefully lend an ear and let me work through all of the emotions. Our home had over 16 showings in a week (did I mention a pandemic?) resulting in 3 offers! Teri then found us the most amazing home! A home that I never could have imagined! Her professionalism with us as well as the purchasing party of our home was the epitome of professionalism. Teri not only met our expectations, but exceeded them in every way! When the pandemic hit and sale became urgent, we asked Teri to accelerate our home listing. She had a sign put out front and listed our home in just two days! She was very professional and at the same time personable when communicating with us and the buyers. We were in great hands the entire time, and her experience and skills really benefited our family. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others.
